Thanks to everyone (esp Jeff & Jay) for the excellent feedback (and quick
too).
Ok, you talked me into it! I have been leery of using CMU because when I was
a total newbie I had my colo facility handle a rebuild, which they totally
miffed (as stated previously). I ended up rebuilding the box myself. I was
justifiably apprehensive okay? :) Jeff, didn't mean to seem flippant about
the programs capablities.
Jay: I had found RaqBackup.sh and was looking into using that for the
transfers. I have also been searching the lists and gathering a list of CMU
info so I could be prepared. I assume on the Chilisoft stuff you are
referring to the DSN's?
Is the faq you referred to the one on the cobalt site? What 'manual stuff'
should I expect? I swear I have been searching the archives, and I haven't
found much relating to CMU... at least nothing definitive. Just getting my
ducks in a row and gathering all info I can before proceeding. Any help or
additional suggestions would be greatly appreciated (and posted as a whole
back to the list for future use).
As always, thanks in advance. This list rules!
