They probably work for a small site's owner to backup his/her own site. 
I don't know, I've never tried, but it looks like that's what they're
there for.

That's because the restore utility only restores site data; nothing
about the setup of the site, which is stored in various places
throughout your RaQ.

If you do a complete backup of the RaQ, there's nothing to stop you from
doing a complete restore.  Cobalt/Sun does NOT include software for you
to do so.

Any solution that will completely backup and restore linux hard disk
should work on your RaQ.

I'm actually involved in a project to create a "backup-RaQ" solution; no
price exists yet; in fact no information exists yet on whether it will
be hardware, software, or combination.  Look for announcements later
<smile>.  Any discussion should be on cobalt-developers, not here.
