If you don't mind being the guinee pig, let me know if that approach works
ok. Can't think of why it wouldn't but there are lots of things I can't
think of - now if you ghost it over the network that would be sweet.

Well, it involves physically removing the disk from the server. not a
reasonable solution for a production box.
I will be using it for my test box to test new packages and 3rd party
software. I plan on installing the cd, patch the box with current patches,
then remove the drive and ghost it. That allows me to quickly rebuild the
box so I am sure I am testing a clean build. 30 mins to rebuild a box with
current patches is alot better than the 3+ hours or so it takes to do it via
the "official" way.
