Thanks Stuart!

I managed to find the problem in the perl modules kind of early on but it
took a spell to get all the ducks in a row. I was ~almost~ tempted to
recompile Perl with the old directories @INC. Now all I have to do is clear
massive error logs off the drive and start deleting duplicate perl modules
that occured during my 'shotgun file move' episode.

Thanks - I appreciate your help and that of William Ross, who kindly posted
on this list about his own tangle with this very animal on Nov. 14.

It is ALL working now and I have to say that the new mod_perl, mod_gzip, and
Perl-5.6.1 makes the GUI fly.. and I run it under SSL...

Cheers!
