Hi Again,
Okay, I have some time again to try and figure this out.
Since I installed the infamous patch
(RaQ4-All-Kernel-1.0.1-2.216C27III.pkg which incidently is no longer
on the download page ) on my raQ4r and had my RAID turned off, I have
not been able to get it back. First and foremost my machine is
patched right up to the current patches, all of them. Having said
that, when I type 'more /proc/mdstat' I get:
[root /]# more /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [linear] [raid0] [raid1] [raid5] [translucent]
read_ahead not set
unused devices: <none>
Does this imply that I do not have RAID anymore? I also have
no references to anything RAID like in my GUI. I am not extremely
proficient in Linux but can get by, and I have no experience with
Linux RAID systems. So, please, anyone who can offer some
constructive help, I ask you to do so now.
In advance, thanks a million.
