Call me ignorant, but there's not much call in my experience for PTR records. If I was you I would configure my NS to be primary for
the whole class C, simply because there are so many hoops otherwise, and the downside is so small.
What is the downside, anyway?? (Apart from NSLookup not working if the default host doesn't have a PTR of course, which the above
solves if you control the NS.)
