sorry for the top post,
but I think Gerald had intended to explain things a little more in this
email, I'm assuming its about the touch command.
if [in telnet/ssh] you type "touch aFile.ext" (without " 's), it will create
that file if it doesn't exist if understand things right, so the following:
touch /var/spool/mail/domain-name
would recreate a blank mailspool file there, which would then let mail work
again.
