I must agree - a good firewall is like auto insurance you pay for it now or
you'll REALLY pay for it later if you have M$ boxes connected to your
network.

Based on your description at the beginning of your post about a user's
experience, "I'll give an example of a customer of ours who was recently
hacked." And your conclusion at the end of your post regarding Windows, I
was left with the impression that your entire post was about an experience
with Windows servers and firewalls.
