Johan,

I had same problem with my 4i, it sets up different than the 3 that I had so 
I had a time with it.. if you setup as follows, it should work for you.

The site management/site settings screen

Host Name  www

Domain Name  domainnameonly.com

Web Server Aliases  domainnameonly.com #unless you have other domain aliases 
which would go here

Email Server Aliases  domainnameonly.com


#note, no www. in the domain name on this page, only in the top hostname 
field.

In control panel email parameters:

Relay for the following Hosts/Domains domainnameonly.com

Host/Domain Aliases  www.domainname.com

This worked for me, I'm not using any sub.domain.com stuff so that would 
make is slighty different.

If this was the problem you were having (did not see your first post)
This should do it.
