[cobalt-users] Manually installing a package

Can someone tell me how to manually install a package ?

I've downloaded some *.pkg files and after doing a pkg_prepare, the file
disappears and I don't know what to do next.

PS: I know I can do it from the web UI interface but for some packages, I
get an error message.
