[cobalt-users] Are RaQs here to stay? (opinions wanted)

In comparison to others, our company has only a small investment in the
RaQ line of products, so I am looking for opinions from others.

When the RaQs first came out, our experience with Unix/Linux was
minimal, so they were an excellent value to us. The fact that they were
only 1U was also very appealing. Over the years, more "web applicances"
have become available, and our own experience with Linux based systems
has increased significantly.

We are now evaluating whether or not to stay with the RaQ line. There
hasn't been any significant improvement in the line for quite some
time, and in fact, part of the line (RaQ XTR) was
recalled/discontinued.

Now, companies like Ensim make a software program that will turn almost
any hardware platform into a web appliance. The 250 site license (about
what a RaQ will handle) costs $599.

Are you going to stay with the RaQ line? Why?

Are you not going to stay with RaQs? Why?

Any and all input is appreciated.
