Brian,
If you do not need to keep "site2.com" in the URL, then the following
will work...
First, go into the Site Management/Site Settings for site1.com and add
"site2.com" and "www.site2.com" to the "Web Server Aliases" box - then
click "save changes".
Next, update the DNS record for site2.com so that www.site2.com is a
CNAME for www.site1.com.
Now, when someone types www.site2.com, they will be redirected to
site1.com, and that is the only site (site1) that you have to maintain.
When someone comes from www.site2.com, the URL will change to site1.com
if you follow this method. If you need the URL to stay as
www.site2.com, then I'm sure someone else will have a good answer.
