I believe that if you did change the root password with the methods 
suggested, an Admin  user could reset it using the GUI. By changing 
his Admin password, he would also change the root password.

I have mentioned this to Taco before and I believe he has modified 
the Raq, so that the Admin and Root passwords are separated, for a 
client on a previous occasion. This would be very useful if your 
client was the Admin but you did not want them to gain root access.
