Couple of thoughts.
service - Did you see the message, web service starting?

wiring - Check to see if any lights come on the Ethernet port when you plug
in
the cable. If you are connecting the Raq directly to your computer,
then you need a cross-over cable, otherwise you need a switch or hub.
