[cobalt-users] Mail service timeout on RaQ4r?

I have a couple of dialup clients that can retrieve mail with no 
problem at 48 Kbaud and up.  If they are at a hotel or some other 
location where their connect speed drops to 28K or so, they always get 
a "timeout" error trying to collect mail.  Their ISP's are MSN and AOL; 
client s/w is Outlook and Outlook Express.  (Oh how the ill-informed 
can be swayed by perky advertising!)

Is there a way to increase the timeout lifespan on the server or is 
this even the problem?
