A Cobalt .pkg actually contains rpms ... it also contains extra bits used by
the GUI install process.
You can install rpms ... you just have to do it manually ... just like you'd
do on any Red Hat box.
Recently I installed FileMaker Server on a Qube3 ... it wasn't a .pkg ... it
was a standard rpm ... just followed the instructions and it worked fine.
