Remember, it's an appliance, designed to be operated by folks "who don't
need to know anything about Unix", so a forced reboot prevents us from
making a mistake, or having to know which services to restart and how to
restart them.
It's just Mom Cobalt's way of putting on our little rain coat and hats and
letting us out to play.
Hopefully none of us will stand out there with our mouths open staring
straight up.
