Hi Jason,
Although I have no clue about what your thing do,
You can create a copy of the httpd file in /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd and call
it portfwd, and another copy pptdp.
Edit both files to reflect the correct server and don't forget to add a
symbolic link to the run-level directories ie.
/etc/rc.d/rc3.d/.. for run-level 3 (most used for a public server )

Otherwise you can take a look at the initscritp in /etc/rc.d/...
