Hi Glenn ( with double n )
You can run the authentication in several ways, two of them are password
based or host based. If you use the host based solution then you will logg
on automatically onto your remote machine if you always come from the same
local machine.

!!! HOWEVER THIS MEANS THAT IF YOUR LOCAL MACHINE IS COMPROMISED YOUR REMOTE
MACHINE IS VERY LIKELY TO ALSO BE HACKED !!

So carefully think this over,
What is more important to you :
* The fact that you can easily log in to your remote machine
* have a higher level of security ??

You can set the authentication type in your sshd_config file, which usually
remains in /etc/ssh2/sshd_config ( well /etc/ssh in your case :-)) )
