Jeff,

You won't find anyone more uninformed than I am. About three weeks ago, I set up
my first virtuals on a RAQ4i. I read the manual, I read elsewhere, etc., and
still had problems with the connections. Tracerts showed me what yours do. I
even wrote to this list, and gsh hit it for me right on the button. Don' t know
if what worked for me is the standard, but I was told to make TWO Address
records for each virtual -- one with www in the "hostname" slot and another
without. In the web alias/mail alias, I was told to put in both formats. I did.
It all works fine, including mail.

Maybe you've already got all the data in your DNS records correctly, but in case
you don't, might give it a try. Also, for each virtual DNS record, be sure to
check out the SOA -- has to be your two nameservers in that one. Pardon me if
I've repeated something you've already done and checked a zillion times -- good
luck, too.
