Had the same problem, this is the solution.
Yes, they probally have changed their DNS and MX records, and it is probally pointing to the raq. You also have to set up dsn and mx records on the raq, thats what the wizards at cobalt told me and it worked. Your host points to the raq and the raq has to point to the virtual site.
