Jeff,

If you are not using a machine on the server machine network at your location
host, you will have to wait for the world's dns tables to update before you can
access the virtual account through a browser when calling it by domain name. (If
your virtual has its own IP number and is not name based, you can reach it by
asking the browser for the IP number). Process Usually takes 2 or three days.
After that, your mail services and web page calls will work through your
browser.

If you want to check periodically to see when that happens, and you use a
windows machine, open a dos prompt screen, cd C:\windows and run a tracert to
your domain name: tracert yourdomain.com -- if the tracert ends up at the
correct place (your location host), then you're in business.

At least, that's the way it works for me here.
