[cobalt-users] RaQ3 - Problem restoring some files

I've just reinstalled the OS on a RaQ3i, but I'm having trouble restoring a
couple of users email data from a previous bakcup. I'm not sure if its a
permission problem or the fact that the username has dots in the middle
a.user.b

Is there some way to manually extract the file and then put it in the users
mailbox?
