Does anyone have a program they would recommend to check the status of a
couple of hundred sites on a daily basis ?

The kind that sends an HTML request and tells you if it gets anything other
than a 'good' response.

I know there are services that offer it as part of a port checking option
with the ISP, but I would like to run it from my desktop. Preferably it
would find the list of urls to check from a text file or asv.
