Ok, here's the deal. I have and maintain a Microsoft Access Database
and have previously been exporting ascii files and writing perl scripts
to display and modify the data in the ascii files and then downloading
the ascii files and re-importing them into Access to update my data.
Now that I have ASP and DB drivers available on the new RAQ4r server I
would like to use ASP to simplify the display and update of information
on a web site. I cannot however figure out how to convert my Access
database to MySQL (or any other format other than Dbase 5) so that I can
use that database directly with ASP. I know that I cannot use the .mdb
Access file directly and since I don't have access to an NT server to
put the database on I have to convert to a database format that can be
accessed on the RAQ4 server.
What is my best course of action to take here, and does anybody have any
links to information on this subject they can forward?
TIA for any information you can give me.
JC Jones
