I've read two suggestions...
1) Nimda is the name of an Israeli defense contractor,
hence why the Feds were looking at this as a possible
terrorist attack.
2) Nimda = Admin spelled backwards
(bet that's the ticket as it plays Admin on those damn
Windoz machines).
