what do you mean with "linking"? I looked into all files, nowhere I can find
the string
/.html
which must be there in order to product this strange path
(/home/sites/site54/web/.html)

Hmm... The customer has no DirectoryIndex directive in his .htaccess files,
so this cannot be the reason.
