Ummm....just my $0.02 worth here.
If you have a valid user on the RAQ, the simple act of logging in at the
neomail login page accesses their mailboxes.
Now...<thinking> if you first stick a .htaccess file in the appropriate
directory (I know, it's a double login but you can always advise your
customers that this is for their security)
In the .htaccess file you can now define who gets in and who doesn't.
It's definitely not the *nicest* way to do things, in fact it's a kludge
but right off the top of my head it's the *simplest* way to accomplish
the goal you set forth, although admittedly it causes maintenance
headaches down the road. Without getting into perl or some php wildness,
it's the only method I can think of.
