You are probably running APOP and an E-mail client that does not support it,
turn off APOP for the account that you are having prolbems with or get
Eudora that supports APOP.

I have this problem whereby I cannot log in to my POP mail account as it
says I need to us stronger authentication such as AUTH -MD5 or something,
but several other accounts which are part of the same site have no problems
at all logging in to POP. Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm runnin a
