RE: [cobalt-users] Possible MX problem? RaQ3

Possibly a DNS error - maybe a record without the trailing "." at the
end of the record entry??

Otherwise, I came across a similar issue on my RAQ4 where the "receive
mail for the following domains" data did not contain the name of the
domain that was having the problems.

Not sure if the RAQ3 is similar to the RAQ4... but I just updated

Control Panel-> Email Server Parameters->"Host/Domain Aliases" section
and added the name of the domain.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Possible MX problem? RaQ3

When I send mailings to my subscribers I get a lot more bouncing back
than I did before i was on the RaQ. For example, when I send email to
user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx somehow my server changes it to
user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx which then bounces back
to me? Of course, millenium-online.com is my server name.

Here's the error :
******
----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<user1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

----- Transcript of session follows -----
553 sherlock.stanford.edu.millenium-online.com. config error: mail loops
back to me (MX problem?) 554 <user1@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>... Local
configuration error
******

I am using pop before relay, but can't seem to find the version number
in my software list.
