[cobalt-users] Webmin Install on Raq3

 I am trying to install Webmin on a Raq3. I can log in as root, but
 cannot FTP the tar.gz file to usr/local. I tried uploading the file
 into another directory and moving it with SSH and FTP. It appears I am locked
 out of root. When I try to move the file using SSH, I get the
 following error:

cp: cannot create regular file `/usr/local/webmin-0.88.tar.gz': Permission denied

This is probably really simple, but I am clueless. Can anyone help?
