Re: [cobalt-users] OT: Hoping you guys are okay

I would first like to extend my condolences to those that have lost friends and relatives in the horrifying attacks on Tuesday. We have several friends that work in both the Pentagon and the WTC, and are anxiously awaiting word from them. This is a dark day in history, and was a cowardly attack on innocent citizens. We spent most of the day yesterday watching in shock as the events were broadcasted to the world. I still find it hard to believe that this has actually happened. I do agree that this is NOT the time or place to discuss what went wrong, how it could have been avoided or making jokes about it. I don't think there is or will ever be a place for the latter. Our offices are in Houston, Texas and we have been carefully watching all information regarding the possibility of future attacks. Houston, like most large cities is vulnerable to similar attacks. We have entered a new era in the US, and it requires us all to consider the most remote threats as possibilities. Up until yesterday the only major concerns were hurricanes and accidents at a chemical plant. Now terrorist attacks must be added to that list.

Best regards,
Ed Morgan
