[cobalt-users] Qube 3 backup stopped working!!

Hi,

I hope someone can help me.

All of a sudden my nightly backup to a samba share has stopped working!! 
This is the bog standard backup that comes with the qube.  Suddenly it hangs
during backup and locks a lot of the programs like 'df'.  The only way that
I can find out of it is to reboot the qube (luckily the admin interface is
still working) as you cannot kill any of the processes.

I have run the backup manually (run the cron job) and let it run and the
following two errors seem to be the culprits...


system error: Illegal seek, 35584

(This number is always either 256, 512 or 35584)


Use of uninitialized value at /usr/sausalito/perl/CCE.pm line 313.
Use of uninitialized value at /usr/sausalito/perl/CCE.pm line 173.

Could someone *please* help me with this and tell me what could be wrong.

This has been down for 3 weeks now and I can't find the answer anywhere!!
