It shouldn't matter where the server is as far as correct time is
concerned, but you should try to use one close to you; even though there
are algorithms built into the protocols to correct for transmission time
between servers, long delays can cause inaccuracies.
I use ntp-cup.external.hp.com; it's on the west coast, as I recall.
