My organization used the web server to psuedo-stream RealAudio files until we
decided the format was popular enough to install the RealServer. Pseudostreaming
the files isn't as elegant as having the RealServer truly stream them, but it's
less of a headache if you're just figuring it out. I don't think anyone noticed
a difference when we moved from having the web server serve the files to having
the RealServer software stream them. The files buffered for a few seconds and
then played no matter which method we used.
