Re: [cobalt-users] secure cert & netscape

quite frankly, this debate can go on for ages but the fact of the matter is
that competition is good because it makes competitors try to add features to
their products in ourder to improve on each other. which doesn't happen in
an environment where one product dominates.

I still use netscape as an essential tool for support. Nothing refreshes
like netscape, I have customers who call up and can't see changes they've
uploeaded via FTP, always solved with a quick shift+reload in Netscape. I
woud like to take the time to learn Mosaic, but in the meantime having two
different browsers (plus lynx) helps enormously.

As for SSL, i still don't implement 128bit because the 30 or maybe now 20
percent of customers who don't have browsers that support it are a greater
risk to my business than the extra 88 bits which come down to a matter of
processing power.

i browse with internet explorer, i work with netscape.
