I have just set up the mailman web mail package on my RaQ4i. So far,
all testing has gone well. Although this is a relatively new system,
I am already running into duplicate user issues for virtual domains.
For incoming mail, the /etc/mail/virtualusertable is working well for
me. Now I am trying to deal with re-writing outgoing mail. It appears
that the way to deal with this is to create a /etc/mail/genericstable
file and db.
To do this, this FEATURE set would need to be supported in the
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf file, in which it is not. This issue is
not address in my manual. Also, I have done a search at the
Sun-Cobalt knowledgebase. I did not fine anything which directly
addresses this. This was as close as I got:

bin/kbase.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_sid=hZOJJ_Vf&p_lva=&p_refno=010518-009635&

If someone could point me to another official Cobalt page which
addresses this issue so I can RTFM, it would be greatly appreciated.
Short of an official answer, it looks like I can modify the
/usr/lib/sendmail-cf/cf/cobalt.mc
to add support for the genericstable feature and then create a new
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf file which should get me where I need to be.
Does anyone see anything wrong with this approach other that it
will void my support (yet again)??
TIA,
Jerry
p.s. - anyone not familiar with the genericstable feature can read the
official docs on it at:
