Thanks for posting your experience. Let me ask a couple of details:

1) You mention the user has to enter their *server* user ID, which makes
sense for a server-wide installation. Do you think your customers will find
this confusing? (perhaps not since that's how their mail clients are set up
to check mail....)

2) Using a dummy domain like "domain.com", what URL do your users use to
access the login?
