Your problem is very simple.

your / is full (about 100%).
Which means that your /etc/sysconfig/network is about 0 bytes.

If your would check your lcd for the network setup, you will see that
your gateway is empty.

solution:

1. rm all useless stuff from your /
   for example: /usr/doc

2. check for high file usage. 
3. check /usr/admsrv/html/.cobalt/reports/ (one of the biggest users of diskspace)

After you have cleaned up /

fix your network script.

NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=yourhostcobalt.yourtld.ext
GATEWAY=x.y.z.1
