I've noticed my RaQ4i has a second NIC, but it is not configured with any

the network?
My ISP says it is a virtual Interface, but why does it have a MAC address
then? What happens if I try to configure the NIC with one o my IPs and the
network is not plugged in?
Thanx, :DTM.
It is a second network connection. As I have my Raq4 at my house, I have
the port configured with a 192.168.x.x address and can access the computer
that way instead of across the internet. You could connect a second
network cable to it and put a different IP on it. I have thought of it as
a method of connecting, the main port for just me and the secondary for the
virtual sites.
