I'm not sure what the propriety is either, but it wasn't me; I'm not
that cheap <smile>. I often try to be as helpful as I can be, then
point out that I also offer professional services.
I usually do it onlist, so as many people as possible may benefit from
the information I have. I don't think I've ever been chastised for
offering services; if I have, then it wasn't loud enough that I'd
remember it <smile>.
I know that Cobalt (after all, they host this list) has been very happy
with my support efforts both onlist and offlist, and have rewarded me
for it.
