Impropriety Question:

I don't see anything in the meta-faq about this:  I received an offer from
someone offering to fix this problem for $50.

Personally, I don't like 'offers' like this.  If I want to pay someone to
help, I will indicate 'willing to pay' in my posting.  Of course, anyone can
pay Sun to fix our problems, but that's a given.

Again, I'm not sure what the policy is on this (if there is one) so the
'offerer' will remain anonymous, but I'd like some feedback.  Thanks (and
especially thanks to those who replied with solutions to this issue).
