With Opensrs you have to remain in credit with them to be able to register
names. It doesn't matter how much in credit you are as long as you have
enough to cover the registrations.

However the first payment into your credit balance is either:

$250 if you are using their client software (suitably modified to include
credit card processing etc) on your site and selling though that
or
$500 if you simply go to their wholesaler site and register there
