Oh, this one's offtopic, too, isn't it <smile>.

You first set it to use the ">" to quote.

Then you move down through the email manually, and intersperse replies,
intelligently deleting what you're not replying to, only leaving enough
to keep your message clear.

Kind of like I just did <smile> (except I'm using Netscape).

No mail client automates proper responses.  That's your job.
