Very much so, but once I understood it, everything became easy.
Now as to why they did it that way? Presumably because it makes it
easier to use one simple setup for email to the specific
domain/host/subdomain (for example, anything.domain.com) and also if you
want email to the generic domain as well (domain.com). Most of us only
care about domain.com, but the RaQ designers had to design a
configuration that would work for both/either.
