RE: [cobalt-users] Traffic and Bandwidth Management

That looks superb. However, we do not have SNMP access to the router used for our cabinet. Does anyone have any idea how we could route all network traffic through a Raq 3 ( in NIC I and out NIC II) and then query the SNMP interface on the Raq 3?

Also, is there any way be could throttle the bandwidth on a per IP basis, going through this Raq 3? It is possible to do all of this with a high end (£10,000+) piece of hardware, but a Raq and something like IP chains should be able to do this.

Regards,

Jason

Does anyone know of a suitable piece of software which could do this
and create online stats for each IP address?

This would be an enormous help in monitoring network Bandwidth.

Our co-locater uses this software, and from what I get to see it is pretty
damned impressive.
