RE: [cobalt-users] /etc/cron.daily - NUMBER OF INDEX' TUPLES (574) IS NOT THE SAME AS HEAP - Raq3

<snip>
I've searched the archives for this, and I find 29 entries for the problem,
but NO solutions with the singular exception of a recommendation from Cobalt
that I reboot, which I did to no avail.

The message came in a NOTICE email from cron.daily which indicates that
'Index pg_attribute_..._index' has the problem. Most of the active
monitor/system status in the GUI returns Internal Server Errors. Sites
appear to be working as advertised, but I have not dug in deep enough to
determine what else is broken.
</snip>

Problem Fixed - Solution:

Reboot your system. Try to see Disk Usage in the GUI to verify that this
worked. If site and user disk quotas show up, it should be fine.
OTHERWISE:

Call Cobalt Support. The problem relates to the Postgres database that
keeps track of user quotas. If just the right sequence of events occurs,
the table indices lose their minds and must be deleted and rebuilt. Only
Cobalt should do this (unless you are gutsy and don't mind voiding your
warranty).
