To date that is the only solution I have found.

It works for me as I don't use NT or 2000 for anything else but as a
FileMaker Server or a Retrospect Backup Server so I really only need one
account on those boxes.  Unfortunately as "Administrator" is > 12 characters
I have to create a new account "admin" and use that.

I generally deploy MacOS or Windows 9x on the desktop because its easier for
the users.

I don't know why it is, but you need to logged in on the NT box with a
username and password which is valid on the Qube3.  This was not the case
with the Qube2.

If you don't want to change the account on the NT box, then you'll have to
create an account on the Qube3.

It is a bit of a pain if you want to access the Qube3 as several different
users.
