Manny,
We had the same problems as you, eventually after trying to
setup Interbase we decided to Install MySQL on our RAQ4
and use MS Access to transfer our data from SQL Server to
the MySQL server.
You can get a MySQL package for the Cobalt RAQ from here
http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/ along with instructions on how
to set up DSN connections etc.
If you are using a Windows PC for development you will also
need MyODBC http://www.mysql.com/downloads/api-myodbc.html
Hope this helps
