Re: [cobalt-users] Watch out for Sun support

Nobody doesn't have complaints against cobalt, I think after it has been
acquired by SUN it has become worse and worse and worse. I required some
assistance, they told me to write to professional services, I wrote to them
with several reminders and there was no response from them. I have more than
5 cobalts in my business, I will need to throw all of them out.

I just asked a simple question that I have restored my Cobalt Raq3 and
everything is down, I can't login as admin, telnet services are down, ftp
services are down and e-mail services, why should I ever continue using
Cobalt ??? We are saying NT is bad because it crashes, something that
crashes is better than something that doesn't work at all. With crashing, I
have a backup, I can restore all my files and restore my software, what do I
do with Cobalt ??? We were blaming IBM for being proprietary, whats this
nonsense with Cobalt ??? They are even worse, no support, at least in IBM we
got support and we got the value of what we paid for. I can't even telnet,
what do I have to do with the BOX ??? just login by copying and pasting the
link from another url of the server that works ??? and looking at it that it
has some nice pics and nice graphics ??? How does it help us ??? If I add
any website and want to create users it tells u r not authorised, when I am
the only one who created it, I can't change the admin password, WHY SHOULD
WE CONTINUE USING COBALT AT ALL ??? AND NOW WHY SHOULD WE USE SUN COBALT AT
ALL ???

I WAS AGAINST MICROSOFT, BUT NOW I UNDERSTAND BETTER TO USE SOMETHING THATS
WELL TRIED AND TESTED AND WHERE I CAN GET GOOD SUPPORT IF NOT FROM MICROSOFT
THEN FROM OTHER USERS, HERE WE WILL JUST DO TRIAL AND ERRORS ???

I AM REALLY PISSED OFF WITH SUN COBALT, I WILL LOSE MORE THAN $10,000, BUT I
THINK I BETTER LOSE THAT MORE THAN LOSING MY CUSTOMERS, WELL COBALT, SUN
COBALT BYE BYE, AND SEE YOU DYING !!!
